December 2016 Principal’s Letter

Dear Parents/ Guardians,

December is a very busy month for us at Olmsted. Students are involved in a variety of activities both in and out of school throughout the month. A listing of events can be found below. Athletic events are posted on the school website.

With the holiday season fast approaching the OWL Squad is sponsoring a door decorating contest with classrooms competing against each other in a variety of categories. The freshman and sophomore student council is sponsoring a holiday sweater competition to see who has the most unique holiday sweater.

The school is selling Olmsted Winter Beanies for $18 and Keepsake Ornaments for $7. Orders for these items are due December 2nd. Click here for the Winter Beanie order form. And click here for the Keepsake Ornament order form.

We will have a practice lock-down drill on Thursday December 1st. This is only a practice and is done to get students prepared in the case of an actual lockdown.

Finally, thanks to all parents who attended Parent-Teacher Conferences. The turn-out was great! If you could not make it for some reason, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns.
