Last Wednesday evening 57 outstanding seniors graduated at Olmsted’s 5th Graduation. This was a small class who accomplished a lot. Each graduate was accepted to college and as a group earned over $4,555,000 in scholarships. This was in addition to monies earned through Say Yes Scholarships. More importantly these graduates added something of themselves to make our school special. It was a proud day for the Olmsted school family.
As I stood on the stage conferring diplomas it was hard not to notice the looks of pride on the faces of their parents and families. So much of the success of these students is because of the involvement of their parents. As we end this school year I want to take this opportunity to thank all parents for the support they have given to me, as principal, to my fellow administrators and to the Olmsted faculty and staff. All that you do for us is greatly appreciated.
Enjoy the summer. The new school year will come quickly enough.
