Connecting Kids to Coverage

Dear Families,

Kaleida Health’s mission is to advance the health of our community. In that vein, Kaleida Health has entered into a partnership with the Buffalo Public Schools, Charter Schools, and various community-based organizations to provide access to health care for uninsured children and young adults.

Kaleida Health has been awarded a two-year grant through CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) to connect children to health insurance in the Buffalo Public Schools and Erie County. There are two facilitated enrollers who can help sign your children up for this program. The facilitated enrollers are actively reaching out to all of the Buffalo Public Schools which serve the community.

Should your child need health insurance or experience loss of coverage from their current health insurance plan, have them contact their school clinic to contact a facilitated enroller, or call (716) 859-8979.

Kaleida Health looks forward to making this partnership a success.

Sincerely,
Marlo Hall
Supervisor, Kaleida Health Facilitated Enrollment
